Jacob liked to bang his head against the wall all the time. A strange compulsion would come over him to find a nice bare wall and start banging away with his head. His family thought he was crazy, and he had no friends. When asked about his unusual habit all Jacob could say was he had sudden urges to do it, and that it actually felt nice.
Then one evening after his longest session of head banging yet something happened, Jacob heard a faint voice through the wall but he couldn’t quite hear what it said. The next day during more head pounding he heard the voice again, it sounded closer. Eventually the voice came close enough to hear. It said, “I’m coming, I’m coming” in a creepy inhuman voice. Suddenly a section of the wall opened like a hidden door and something came out.
Fear filled Jacob, all his head banging had summoned it, and he knew that his head banging days were over.
