I felt nothing but dread as I saw the flashing red lights behind me. I had been driving a little too fast in the rainy weather and was late for an appointment, now I was going to be really late. I pulled over to the side of the road, and watched the police motorcycle stop behind me. The officer looked stoned faced and not very friendly. I felt nervous as I slowly opened my side window and felt the rain hit my face. Then I pulled out my wallet for my driver’s license, when the officer reached through my open window and grabbed me. I cried out in shock as he yanked me through the car window and slammed me against the car like a flimsy doll. I saw how big he was and that he was extremely angry. Was I going to be killed for speeding?
“How could you do it?” The officer growled at me, “Driving your car so fast. Think of the children you have killed!”
I started to squirm, was this officer insane? I thought. I had been going only 5 miles over the speed limit, and I was out in the middle of the countryside, there were no children. “Officer I was only going a little fast, I’ve done nothing bad.” I pleaded.
The officer growled with rage, and he slammed my face against the car’s windshield. That was when I noticed something was wrong with the rain on my car it was red! Looking behind I noticed a school bus off to the side of the road and a whole lot of bodies lying on the road. The officer wasn’t insane it was me.
